I wish that I could put into words how happy I am to be serving a mission. I've never felt this much happiness in my entire life. I LOVE the gospel. So, on Wednesday we had a HUGE rainstorm. I'm talking inches of water in just a few minutes all over everything. Coming from Utah, I've never seen so much rain in my life and I was thrilled. It just kept raining, raining, raining......I loved it. Sister Latu and I were giving tram tours at the PCC and we were soaking wet from head to toe and wading in ankle deep water. It was the coolest thing ever and of course at the end of the storm there was a beautiful rainbow. I'm so grateful to be living in such a beautiful place.
Easter is coming up and these past few weeks as a mission we have been reading a talk on the Atonement everyday. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and for his sacrifice for me. I find peace knowing that in a very small way I am trying my best to show my appreciation for what he's done for me by serving others with all my heart. Sometime this week I hope that you will watch "None Were With Him" by Elder Holland on Youtube Mormon Messages and then try to be a little better each and everyday. I'll be doing that too!
It sounds like everything is going well back in Utah. I've seen lots of USU AGGIES!!! this week in the Visitors Center because of their Spring Break and its been fun having a little connection to home. I've been getting basketball updates from one of the Sr. Couples here....they are from Logan...and I've been secretly cheering for my team these past couple of weeks.
